The Order is delighted to announce that for “Giving Tuesday” in Canada (Nov. 30th), and the Order of Saint Joachim has made a donation through its Canadian charitable arm, The Noble Hearts Foundation, to Opportunity International of $12,500. Because of matching funds, Opportunity International will receive $25,000.
Opportunity International provides financial support to thousands of mostly women entrepreneurs in the developing world in the form of micro loans and financial literacy training, to help them permanently break the cycle of poverty to support themselves, their families and their communities.
Thank you to our members who have given so generously over the past year to our charitable causes and have allowed our Order to make this donation, plus the many others around the world through our commanderies.
