$5000 Donated To Children’s Charity

Uncategorized
Dear Confreres and Consoeurs,
As a way to provide meaningful community support during the Covid-19 crisis, The Canadian Commandery has successfully raised and donated $5000 to the registered charity “Food4Kids”.
In a crisis like the one we are experiencing right now, food insecurity is particularly severe as the most vulnerable lose their jobs and social program assistance. Food4Kids (www.food4kids.ca) provides healthy food for school children in Ontario with limited or no access to food outside of school breakfast breakfast and lunch programs. They have set up a special program during Covid-19 to continue to deliver food assistance to the children most in need. $15 can feed a child for a week.
Thanks to the generosity of our members, our Canadian charitable arm, The Noble Hearts Foundation (Charitable Registration: 83471 3000 RR0001), received almost $5,000 in donations specifically for Food4Kids. The Canadian Commandery topped up the donations to reach the $5,000 goal.
Thank you for all those who donated. Your generosity is appreciated.
